and safety, fire precautions and preventions to a good standard, report any
faults to the Service Manager.
To maintain records to a good standard daily record on Care Control effectively.
To comply with Patience company, regulations, policies, and high standards of
care.
To attend statutory training sessions, staff meetings and supervision.
To undertake such other duties as required by the Service Manager.

individual to serve as a House Manager for our supported living house catering to
vulnerable adults with learning difficulties and mental health. The House Manager
will
oversee the day-to-day operations of the house, manage staff, and collaborate
closely
with social workers and other third-party organisations to ensure the well-being and
safety of our residents. This role reports directly to the Registered Manager and
receives support from the Team Manager.
Responsibilities
House Operations Management
Ensure the smooth running of daily operations within the supported
living
house.
Oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and safety protocols to maintain a
clean,
safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Manage the household budget efficiently, ensuring resources are
allocated
appropriately.
Staff Management and Supervision
Train and supervise support staff, ensuring they are equipped with the
necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and provide
constructive feedback to foster professional growth.
Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of
care.
Resident Support and Care
Develop individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, their
families,
and healthcare professionals.
Monitor residents' well-being and progress, intervening as needed to
address
any concerns or changes in behaviour.
Promote residents' independence and empower them to participate in
decision-making regarding their daily activities and goals.
Collaboration and Communication
Act as the primary liaison between the supported living house, social
workers,
healthcare providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and other collaborative
efforts
to ensure holistic care planning and coordination.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including resident
records,
incident reports, and communication logs.
On-call out of hours responsibilities on a rota basis
Compliance and Regulation
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and
organisational
policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold standards of quality
and
safety.
Address any compliance issues promptly and proactively implement
corrective
measures.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with individuals with learning difficulties and
mental health concerns.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and
motivate a team.
NVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to
detail.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Capacity Act and Health
and Social Care Act.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field
(preferred).
Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
